I have a desktop and laptop. I downloaded a trial Microsoft Office onto my
laptop. Is it possible to install the same download on the two computers?
Do I have to purchase a second Office for my desktop?

For a Trial version there is no problem to install on 2 different computers. For a purchased version you will need to read the EULA depending which Office Suite you purchased. Different Off Suites have different installation criteria as per their EULA

No you don't have to buy second office for your desktop. Office 2003
retail version can be installed on two systems.

Trial version would be tricky. You are only allowed to try on one
system but as there is no way to control downloads, I suspect you can
pretend to donload second time just to get another key to install. The
keys are emailed so you don't have to download completely second time.
