can i use word macro to sign into e-mail etc

10 years ago I was able to build numerous macrs for use in applications other
than word. I would open a box that contained buttons and could select
whatever i needed for any application i was working on. I have been out of
the job market for awhile and I am wondering if this is still possible.

Other than Word?

You can use autotext, autocorrect and macros to insert text into Word
documents.

There are third party applications that will insert autotext-like entries in
any application.
