Can no longer customize Outlook Today for Outlook 2000

Over the past week or so I have discovered that I can no
longer customize the Outlook Today screen in Outlook 2000.
I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and
if there were any solutions out there. (And please don't
say upgrade to Outlook 2003 :) )
