Can Not send email

I am in a remote office with out a connection to my
server. I am using outlook 2000 for email with an MSN
account to get on the internet. When I configure my POP3
and SMTP servers to send and receive email with the
servers for my email I can not send email. When I
configure it for smtp.email.msn.com it still will not let
me send email. Is there any way to send email from an
internet account using msn dial up to connect?

Hi Josh
Was this issue ever resolved? I have the exact same problem and have spent hours trying to find the answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
