Can Office 2000 run on Windows XP.

I have Office 2000 but upgraded from Windows 2000 to
Windows XP. Will Office 2000 run on Windows XP correctly
I don't have the money to repurchase Office XP nor do I
want to, this is just software?

NOTE: I tried to print an envelope last night and it would
not from one of my saved forms. From another saved form
it printed the envelope but the address and return address
was in red and I could not find anything to allow me to
change the color. I got past this by setting printer to
print black. This is why I am asking the question if
Office 2000 will run on Windows XP or is there something
wrong with the printer, etc... it is a Lexmark Z82 and I
have downloaded the XP drivers for it.

When you upgraded to XP did you perform an upgrade system check
This would have told you any conflicts that could arise: hardware, software
If your printer was a model (pre-XP) with updated drivers, this could be the problem
