When we install Outlook 2003 on a client can we configure the .NK2 file to be
created on the users network drive so it is backed up and roams with them
from PC to PC?

no you can't change the location it goes into. it's placed in C:\Documents
and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook, which I thought
was part of a roaming profile though.

I'm not sure anyone knows for sure, but I'd advise against it. From what
little I've been able to tell, the connection between the Outlook profile
and the NK2 file is not unlike the connection to a PST file, and we all know
you shouldn't put those on network drive.
If anyone might know it would be the developers at Ingressor. Wouldn't hurt
to ask them.
