Can Word 2000 use Word 2002 templates?

I have created VBA templates in Word 2002. I have now been asked to forward
these templates onto contractors but they use Word 2000. Can Word 2002
templates be used in Word 2000? If not, how can I convert Word 2002
templates to Word 2000?

Could be problems if:

1. the Word 2002 VBA used statements not supported by Word 2000 VBA;
2. there are bugs in Word 2000 that are exposed by the Word 2002 code; and
3. there are bugs in the Word 2002 code exposed by Word 2000.

Only way to find out is to run the critters.

P,S. Also, make sure that project references get resolved the first time
that each template is opened in Word 2000.
