Can you use date of today for a task?

Hi,

I am working for the University of Zaragoza on the development a seminary
about MS Project 2003 for the students.
I have a cqse study project, but I want to start some tasks at the day when
the seminary will be held (offcourse i don't know this date yet and i hope to
do serveral seminaries on serveral days with the same project).
Can you implement a starting day of a task on the day of today (the day that
you open the file)? And how can you make sure that all the other tasks dates
also change?

Thanks

Dennis,
Well yes, you probably can but it won't be straightforward - it will
require a simple VBA macro. Here's what I suggest. For a new project
file, the Project Start Date will automatically be the current date. For
files that already exist, try the Adjust Dates utility found on the
Analysis toolbar once you are ready to "nail down" the starting date.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dennis,

You see, you could have used the newsgroups straightaway - I even haven't
had time to reply to your mail you sent me directly. I shall reply to your
other questions by mail.
In the future, maybe it's best to post your question on the Dutch NG
(microsoft.public.nl.office.project)
Greetings,
