Cannot add features to Office

HELP

Tried to add HELP to Microsoft Word, operation failed. I tried running the
setup program on the office CD and I can't do anything. Running Windows XP
SP2,and I have office 2003 Teacher and Student Edition. What is the deal,
what is going on
