cannot connect - Project server 2003 with Share Point Services

Hi All,

We have installed Project Server 2003 on windows 2003 with share point
services.
When I am trying to connect to Project server from Microsoft Professional
2003, I am getting the following erorr:
"
cannot connect

Project was unable to establish a connection with the selected Project
server. This could be caused by a loss of network connectivity or problems
with the project server or database.
"

What could be the problem. I have run the conninfo.exe and set the sever
info as well. We are using English United States.

Also we are facing problem, in integrating Share Point services with project
server.
Under Risks and Issues we are getting following message.
"
There is a problem establishing a connection with the Web server running
Windows SharePoint Services. Contact your system administrator.
"

Please help us.

If you installed Project Server on the same virtual web site as WSS, you
must add the Project Server url to the exclude list in WSS managed paths.

How can I exclude project server from site list in WSS? I am new to share
pont services.

Try going into SharePoint Central Administration and use the help menus if
you have trouble finding it.

HI Gary,

Now I have uninstalled Project Server and installed under default web site.
So now i am not facing 2nd problem. But still i am facing 1st problem.

Please suggest the solution.
