cannot delete e mail

I am having problems deleting my email. i can hilight
them but after hitting delete there is no hourglass and
nothing happens pleeeeeeeez heeeeelp!!

It would be helpful if you told us what version of Outlook you're using.

I'm having the same problem. I'm on version 6 of Outlook
Express. I suspect a file is full somewhere as I have been
deleting many emails with very big attachments lateley. I
remember this happened a couple of years ago and I think
the problem was traced to a file containing messages that
had been deleted from the "Deleted" box. Can't be certain
though I'm afraid.
