cannot download exe files

When I click on EXE file from my website, I get "Page not found" error. It
is definitely there...

I do have the .htaccess file in the subfolder that contains the exe files.

Shed some light???

..htaccess is for UNIX based servers, and
your site is hosted on Microsoft IIS.

Ok, so how do I get it to download the exe file in windows? I just imported
the site from a customer of mine. I don't actually use frontpage. I just
need to get it working for them.

That wouldn't work. I am doing this for my hosting customers. I prefer to
use FTP and code sites myself, but I have to do what my customers want.

I fixed the problem! I found out that I do have URLScan installed. I don't
remember installing it, but it is there. That was preventing exe files from
being downloaded.

Thanks for your help
