Cannot enter text in new message

I cannot enter text into my ne email messages or word documents. problem started about a week ago.

What happens? Do you get an error?
Is it possible that your fonts have been set to a
color that is the same as your background?
What version of Outlook?

Do not recieve any errors, outlook will not accept any inputs from the keyboard in any field. Color is N/A, I can see the cursor and it does not move.

Have you tried the DETECT AND REPAIR... on the
Outlook HELP menu?
