Cannot install Business Contact Manager

Jerry

After installing the OFfice Pro Ed 2003 eval copy, I
receive the error message "Setup failed to configure the
server. Refer to the server error logs and setup error
logs for more information," when I attempt to install the
Business Contact Manager. I cannot locate the
aformentioned logs, or figure out what I need to do in
order to install the contact manager. My computer is
hooked up to DSL, not to a server.

Have you already installed Outlook 2003 first? It is required as the BCM is
an add-on to Outlook, not its own product. Also, you cannot have an
exchange service in the profile used for the BCM.

Yes, I did install Outlook 2003 first. Where would i
locate the "profile" used for the BCM? Also, am not sure
what you mean by and "exchange service." Thank you.

If you do not know about the exchange service, then you are not using an
Exchange server in a corporate environment.

Have you tried detect and repair, and if that does not work, uninstalling
and reinstalling?
