I have been unable to install the 9 August 2005 version of MS Office Word
Viewer 2003 (wdviewer.exe). My OS is Win2k Pro with SP4 and all rollups and
patches installed.
The installation always starts normally. When the installation progress is
about halfway through, an error message always pops up informing me that the
"Installation ended prematurely because of an error." I've tried to install
this at least a dozen times, but always with the same result. By contrast,
MS Word Viewer 97 installed w/o a glitch
All help will be greatly appreciated.
