Cannot install office 2003

[HamburgJL]

During an upgrade install of office 2003 I realized I should disable
any antivirus running which I then did, during the install. I have XP.
The install then locked up at the "preparing to install" phase. The
computer runs fine now but every time I try to install office 2003 the
machine locks up.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
