Cannot open files under previous version

I purchased Publisher 2000, and it won't let me open any
of my files created under an older version. Please,
plesae help!

Which version of Publisher were you running before?

What version Publisher files are you trying to open?

Have you installed the Office 2000 updates which includes the Publisher
updates.
