Cannot open Publisher 2003 document converted to 2000

Have received an email with a Publisher document that was created in 2003 but
saved as a 2000 document. Still get the message that Publisher cannot open
documents created in a different version. Does anybody know why ths is
happening, is the convertion not working properly?

Thanks

No it's because you're running NAV. Once you have uninstalled it and
completely obliterated all traces from your system (unfortunately, a format
may be necessary) you will have no problems opening the file. Use a proper
AVP that doesn't take over your system like AVG (www.grisoft.com). I've been
using it since its inception and never had an issue. Best of all, it's
*FREE*.

You needn't remove Norton, but disabling "script blocking" and in Norton options,
disabling Office Plug-ins may make the document available.

No, but it's infinitely preferable... Why would you want to keep it, when
there are infinitely better options out there - and they're free!

I've used Norton for years, I've had no problems from day one... They have excellent
support documents.
