cannot open Word

me_myself_i *exasperated and depressed*

My Office cannot open, even though I uninstall and reinstall it. I'm
currently using Microsoft Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003. the
message "Microsoft Office Word has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvinience. If you were in the middle of something,
the information you were working on might be lost". No matter how I try to
restart Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook, the similar message pops up
everytime. What can I do?
