Cannot Save Office 2007 Documents

A user of mine was having difficulty saving Office 2007 (so far we have tried
Word and Excel) documents along with the 97-2003 documents to her mapped
network drive. For troubleshooting purposes, I gave her full control and
still nothing. I am able to save documents in other locations such as My
documents and even other mapped drives. An example of the message I get is
"Z:\Doc1.doc cannot be found. Check your spelling, or try a different path."
This perplexes me because I am not trying to open a document but I am trying
to save a new one. I even tried re-mapping the drive a couple of times but
still nothing. Thank you in advance for the help.
