Can't change TemplateProject

P

Pfc

Hi

I'm creating a new template in Word2003 for house styles that I set a
reference to from various templates. By default the Project Name is
TemplateProject(Styles). I need to change the project name and add a
description. I use the Template properties dialog to change the name
and add a description, which appears to work. When I close and re-open
the project the name has reverted to TemplateProject and the
description is blank. All other changes are correctly saved. Help
please!

Do you actually open the template itself, and make the changes with it
selected? I think that's the best bet for changing the Name property...
And then be sure to click the Save button in the VB Editor.

Does the Template actually have a Project? If not, a temporary one is
created when the template is opened but it is not saved with the Template if
you have not added any content.
