Folks,

I havee setup a letterhead in Publisher (Office 2000). I
want to use it as a template (.dot) in Word.

None of the SAVE AS types word, neither will OLE or Paste
Special.

What can I do ?

Can't do it that easily. I'm not sure what would be the most painless way to
do what you want to do. I have ideas how *I* would do it but I've got all
kinds of programs that I can convert from one to another to
another............ you get the idea.

Can you paste it into any other application? What format do you want the letterhead
to be, .wmf or a bitmap? You might try pasting into Paint. If you can't get it to
work, send it along and I will try to extract it for you into some format you can
insert into Word. Remove "my" to reply.

In Publisher:
Select all, Group, Copy
(Ctrl+A, Ctrl+Shift+G, Ctrl+C)

In Word:
View > Header and Footer.
Edit > Paste Special > Picture (Windows Metafile)
Resize to fit
Right-click > Order > Send behind text

File > Save As... > Type = Document Template
