Can't create notes from mail

In OL 2003 I drag a text message to a note folder and the resulting
note has the header but no text. HTML messages work OK.

Anyone else seen it? Have a solution for it?

This is apparently a problem with dragging plain text messages from a legacy
(Outlook 97-2002 / ANSI) mail folder in a .pst file to a notes folder. It
doesn't seem to be a problem if you are using a Unicode .pst file.

My PST file is from Win 98. So, is there a fix for the problem?

Moving all your data into an Outlook 2003 (Unicode) .pst file would resolve
the problem, but you'd lose a lot -- custom views, links to contacts, etc.
