Can't delete or retype over selected text.

All of a sudden, I can no longer select text and either delete it or type
over it in word. How do I fix this?

Tools | Options | Edit: "Typing replaces selection."

You can also double click the bold OVR in the status bar at the bottom of
your Word window, or press the Insert key on your keyboard (which is usually
how it gets turned on in the first place).
