Cant fiind .pst file in outlook 2003

When I do a search on my computer for the .pst I get no results. What
happen to the .pst file does it still exist in outlook 2003?

It still exists, unless you are running against Exchange Server.
It is a hidden file. Did you search for hidden files?

Will I have a .pst file once I archive the files on my local drive?

Only if you chose to archive to a PST file. I would assume you would check
this out with your Exchange Administrator before doing so.
