Can't find common task button

There is supposed to be a common task button on the
toolbar but I can not find one. Not on the toolbar or in
the list of available buttons in the customize toolbar
window. Does anyone have any ideas how to activate it?

To customize the toolbars, just right-click on an empty part of one and
select customize.

You can also get there by clicking View | Toolbars | Customize ...

You may want to browse over the bottom section in

Yeah. But I went looking for that button and couldn't find it. But the name
is familiar. Anyone know what it does or where it comes from?

Oh, right ... it goes without saying that I hit up Help first and only turned
to the clippidiot in desperation. ;-)
