Can't find the download anywhere

I downloaded the 60 day trial MS Office Publisher version - 22 hours later -
I can't find it anywhere in my system. Did a "search", checked my Program
files, not here. I have been given the "key" and that's it.
Any suggestions of what happened?
Tks all.

If you have the program download, it will be in a temp folder. Are your files
hidden? Did you designate open or save when you downloaded?

Tks Mary.
I looked in temp, not there, but not sure if all files were showing - I'm
still learning "Vista" and I am the admin.
I chose "run" rather than "save". The download box was no longer there - I
did NOT check the "close when complete" button because I like to see the
words, "Download Complete" and have access to "opening containing folder".
Baffling.

Vista creates a download folder in the Users folder on your hard drive. I don't
know if your download would be there or not. I feel this is a Vista issue not a
Publisher problem. I always select save instead of run.
In the Windows Explorer address bar type %temp%, see if the download is in your
temporary folder. It also could be in the Internet Temporary files if you
haven't emptied your cache lately.

Mary, you're wonderful for taking the time to try and help me with this.

You are probably right, it's a Vista issue. I checked my "user" files and
"temp" files, which btw include internet files in both headings. As much as I
truly love Vista's design and overall improvements, I'm frustrated and
disappointed there are mega multiple incompatibilites, especially with NOT
having the most popular extensions. There are very few documents I can open
and/or read, let alone print. PDF in Adobe has been my only success so far.

Even though I got a list of over 300 "compatible" softwares, only 1 was a
program I use - PrintShop 22 Deluxe - which I attempted to to fix with the
suggestion of setting all documents to .xps, which did NOT work. Managed to
save it, won't open, won't print.

I am insulted that MS would release a new operating system with so many
variables still not resolved. Getting tech help, with regard to my particular
and personal issues, has been next to impossible, unless I "pay" to talk to
them about "their" problems.

The "internet" use is phenominal!, but what I could do with my XP puts this
program to shame. Tks again for your generous help. I will continue to search
for help - what else can I do.

=================================
The "Run" option is supposed to
install the program on your computer.

Is it possible that the program is
installed and you have not found
it yet?

Try going to...
Start button / All Programs / Microsoft
Office / Microsoft Office Publisher 2007

Also try going to...
Start button / Start Search...type...Run...
press...Enter...type...mspub.exe...press...
enter.

If the program is installed on your computer
that should launch it.

If you do not find the program, you will have
to download it again. Try the "Save" option
this time and save the file to your desktop...
You can install from there by double clicking
the downloaded file.

Then if you need to reinstall you will not need
to download it again.

Thank you John. It's not here, so I will reinstall to desktop and keep you
posted to let you know if suggestions helped. Here goes another 22 hours! lol

Gawd, I wish high speed was available in my area!

You are "insulted?" And you state: "I chose "run" rather than "save"."

I have yet to find a program that I ran on Windows XP Pro that won't run on
Vista.
Word had the .doc extension—still does! Excel had .xls—still does! I don't
know of any that have changed because of Vista. True Office 2007 file
extensions are different, unless you save as the older versions. All
OpenOffice programs have the same extension.

Or are you referring to the fact that some browser add ons must be upgraded.
