can't get onto my computer

[helpme]

my ms office xp password expired, i don't know what it is, and i can't get
into my computer without it... i tried all the passwords i could have used
and am completely frustrated... am i going to have to lose everything on my
computer?? will i have to reinstall everything? i got ms xp free from my
school so...
