can't install pub from my original disks

Hello all,
I thought I had pub installed on my PC from when I originally installed
office XP pro 2002 but I was wrong. when I insert the original CD and click
add/remove features, I get a list of items I can add but Publisher is not
listed?

only the following are listed:
Access
Exel
Outlook
Powerpoint
Word
Shared Features
Office Tools

I have two CD's one simply says office XP professional part# xo6-19920 and
the other says office xp professional step by step interactive training part#
xo6-26769

Have I lost a CD? and if so how do i go about getting it replaced?
Thanks in advance

The retail version of Office XP Professional does not include Publisher
2002.

If the product was preinstalled on your computer, Publisher 2002 should have
been included.

I have not used Office XP Pro OEM (OEM = Preinstalled version), so cannot
tell you whether it would be on a separate disc or on the main Office XP Pro
disc.

Well that answers that...yikes. Considering what I paid for the retail disks
I am bummed....

My only real problem here that started this quest is that I was sent a PUB
doc and need to open and print it...do you know of a free viewer that I can
use for this ....I do not need to modify or edit it in anyway.

Thanks for you kind reply sir.

There are no viewers for Publisher. Have your sender convert it to a PDF. If you
simply need to view it and not edit I will convert it for you to a PDF or if you
don't care about the formatting I will convert it to Word.
