Can't logon after restoring H/D

After I restored a backup to a new hardrive, Outlook
tells me that logon credentials are incorrect. I have
verified that they are correct by going to the web access
of my inbox. The same password works fine there. Any
suggestons?

The version of Outlook that comes with Windows XP Office
Standard. Thanks.

That would be Outlook 2002.

Is this machine connecting to Exchange? If yes, when you set up the account,
did the name resolve to the mailbox? What type of authentication are you
using? If you set it to none so you are prompted for your credentials, does
it work then?

I'm getting prompted for creditials whether I set the
authentication to password or none and both are telling
me I'm not providing the correct password or login, but I
know it's correct because it works on web access.

Milly,

Even when I uninstall & reinstall, it comes up with my
old creditials, as if something didn't completely
unistall. Is something being cached? Could that be the
jist of my problems?
