Can't open a .ppt file with powerpoint

Hey i am trying to do a project at school right so i save it to me usb key
and when i get home and try it, it says "The path or file name for E:\SC
Project .ppt is invalid. Please sheck that the path and fiel name are
correct." and i have installed all of the updates and stuff so i would have
thought it would work at home so can someone please answer my question thnx

Hi, you should be able to open it. Did you try copying the file to the local
hard disk and try opening it.
