cant open attachement in outlook 2000

Hi,

A strange problem, when i open an attachment in outlook
2000 i am givent the message to open or save, but when i
clcik on open it takes me to a location my C: drive. If i
try and save i am given a error msg.

I am running NT4 with SP6a.

Any ideas
