I have an office file that I can't open on a single user profile. I can open
it anywhere else, either profile or machine. I checked permissions for the
user and gave the entire profile Everyone, full control. I gave the user
full control on the entire NTFS volume. Every time I try to open that file I
get the error, "Can't create file: [specific file name].doc. Right-click the
folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the
shortcut menu to create permissions for the folder." I have even uninstalled
and reinstalled Office XP, including all updates and service packs. Any
ideas???
