Can't open pictures/pdf attachments

Mark

When I open pdf's or pictures sent to me by email (MS Outlook), the Microsoft
Office Picture Manager opens up - but, other than a couple of old pictures,
the document in question doesn't open up...
What could be the issue and, more importantly, how can I solve it?
Thanks

I have the same problem. I recently installed Office Enterprise 2007 and now
when I click on a stored photo, I get an error saying "Error reading file".
I downloaded Adobe Reader 8 and I still have the same problem. Do you have
any other suggestions on what is causing this problem?

I am simply going to My Pictures, selecting a stored picture and double
clicking the thumbnail. The pics always opened this way until I installed
Office Enterprise 2007. I don't know how to go to "Picture Manager".

Are you making sure that you are opening a .pdf file with Adobe Reader? And
.jpgs with the Picture Manager. It will NOT work the other way around.

I suspect something you've done has changed your file associations.

:

Reinstall Adobe Reader. Microsoft Picture Manager doesn't read PDF
files.

That worked great! I followed the link for Win XP and associated the .jpg
files with MS Office Picture Manager. Now they are all opening when I double
click a .jpg file. Thank you!
