Cant play a linked narration

V

Vince

I have recorded a narration in one of my powerpoint presentations. I selected the 'link' option (instead of imbedding it in the presentation). I can see the wav files that were created and I can play it back using media player but I cannot hear any sound when I play it back in the powerpoint slide show. I have tried to send the same files to my friend who is able to play it back without any problem. Also, I have tried to manually delete the sound file per slide and insert it again in powerpoint, I found that this works too. This however is a very tedious way of doing it.

P.s. imbedding the narration works fine.

Steve,

Thanks but I don't think the problem is on having the files in one subdirectory. The thing is, it is on one subdirectory already and I haven't even moved them yet.... Immediately after recording I run slide show and hear nothing
