Can't See Any Pictures in Powerpoint...

I can see them depicted in the slides on the left pane, but not in the main
window. They print. How do I get to see them in the main window?

This is most likely a graphics driver issue. Make sure you have the latest
driver for your graphics card. Or perhaps a full shut-down and restart to
clear everything out. If the problem persists, it may be to large of a file
for the graphics card....

Questions:
- How big is the file?
- What graphics card and memory does the computer have installed?

Okay, but I don't get it. If it's the drivers, why can I see the pics on the
left-side pane? Shouldn't I not see any pics at all if my drivers aren't up
to date?

Not to second guess myself, but this is most likely not a driver issue, but
a PowerPoint issue. Are you using PPT 2003 without the service packs
installed?
- Go to HELP >> ABOUT POWERPOINT >> note the SP# near the top
- PowerPoint 97 = SR-1
- PowerPoint 2000 = SP-3
- PowerPoint 2002 = SP-3
- PowerPoint 2003 = SP-2
- If you do not have this number, go to HELP >> CHECK FOR UPDATES >> and
install
Let us know if this does, or does not, solve the problem.

Yes, we have SP-2 installed. We checked and have the latest ATI driver for
our graphics card. My co-worker reports that at first, the disappearance of
graphics was intermittent and then they stopped showing up altogether. The
graphics show okay in Publisher and Word on the same computer. So it does
seem to be a Powerpoint issue. Is there a setting that messes with the
graphics (like compression) that we may have inadvertently clicked?
