Can't see images

I am using Publisher 2003.

When I insert an image I cannot see it. If I click in the spot where
it was placed I see outline bubbles, but no image. Auto shapes do the
same thing.

If I reboot PC and open file, I can see everything until I close the
file...then they are invisible again.

If your auto shapes aren't working it may well be your video/graphics card. See
