can't see inserted pictures or auto shapes

[Publisher Viewing Problem]

I cannot see any inserted pictures or auto shapes on screen in a publisher
document that I have made and saved. They were visible when I first modified
the template, printed and saved the document.
The handles are there and the computer knows that it is a picture and an
auto shape, but it is not visible. When I rotate the auto shape it appears as
dotted lines in its shape but dissapears when I stop.
Can anybody help please

View, pictures, detail display...

If that doesn't solve the issue, slide the acceleration down on your video adapter,
control panel, display folder, settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.

If this works go to the manufacturer's web site of your graphics card and look around
for undated driver.
