are correct?
How do you normally send email?

Wait, what? What 'they' use for email should be irrelevant.
If you're saying that 'When I click on the link to send an email to apply
for a job, it starts
outlook and that's not what I use for email', then you need to make sure that
a) Outlook isn't set up as your default mail client
and
b) Whatever is your normal email client is set up as your default mail client
