Can't Send email w/ Gmail from Outlook

I've configured my Gmail acct. to go through Outlook, and I can receive all
of my mail jsut fine. However I am unable to send mail out. Everything
seems to be configured correctly -- smtp.gmail.com. When I run Test Account
Settings I get the following error msg : "Unable to send test message.
Please verify the Email Address field". Has anyone else had trouble with
this? Anyone have any advice for how to get my emails sent? Thanks!

When you go into E-mail Accounts, did you click on the more options then the
advanced tap and make sure the incoming server (POP3) is 995 and the boxed is
checked next to "this server requires and encrypted connection (SSL). Also
make sure the Outgoing server (SMTP): is 465 and the same box is checked.

what about under the outgoing server tab. Is the "My outgoing server (SMTP)
requires authentication" box checked as well as the "Use same settings as my
incoming mail server"

Yes -- they're both checked.

What do you have under User Information->Email Address, and under Logon
Information->User Name, should be the same for both fields. If that doesn't
work I have no idea, everything else is the same for my gmail account. Sorry
