Can't send to a particular email address

I have a desktop and laptop on same cable modem. When I
send an email from laptop to desktop it comes in, but
when I go to reply or send a new email to the laptop the
email(s) never arrive to Outlook on the laptop.

I have checked all settings and can't seem to find
any 'oddities'.

Can someone give me a thought as to why this happens (or
should I say doesn't happen)?
