Can't upgrade to Office 2007 from Office 2003

Everytime i try to install the upgrade 2007 office standard, it says it ca't
find an earlier version of Office and when I try to point it in the program
files or with my 2003 Office CD it still does not recognize it. Any
thoughts? PLEASE!

Is your Office 2003 CD a genuine MS disk?

Yes, it is. I tried reinstalling 2003 Office, but it still says it can't
recognize and offcie on my system, even though my office 2003 works fine.....

What edition (e.g., Standard, Professional, Students and Teachers, etc.)
of Office 2003? Some editions are not qualifying products for upgrade
to Office 2007.

Office 2003 Small Business Edition....but on the 2007 Upgrade case, it says
that all Office suites from 2000 and up are compatable....
