Capturing Overtime against assinged tasks in Project Server 2003

Due to contractual billing definitions, I need to be able to differentiate
between "billable" worked and "non-billable" hours worked. For example, if a
resource spends 10 hours one day working on a task, they are only allowed to
bill for 8 hours, and therefore this needs to be captured seperately as these
times will feed directly into our billing; however, from a planning
perspective we would like to capture those 2 hours of OT.

So...is there a way to customize the timesheet view, so that they can enter
overtime each day/task. Or is the only way to do this is to upload a
customizable field and have them capture their time here?

Teach your team members to do the following:

1. Navigate to the View My Tasks page in PWA
2. Click the View Options tab
3. Select the "View overtime work" option
4. Enter up to 8 hours of work per day in the Actual Work field
5. Enter time above 8 hours in a day in the Actual Overtime Work field

Hope this helps.
