catch video playing event?

Hi all,

I am wondering whether it is possible to have an
application (VBA?) handling all the video playing events
while a slide show is going on in PPT. Is there a way to
find out when this video starts playing, stops, pauses,
and what position and window size are.

Any suggestions?

Is it version-dependent?
Idealy, I hope this very same mechanism works for PP97 to
PP03.
Any suggestions?
