i have been sent a cd with very important pics on it.
but when we try to get it transferred into ppt it will
not let us open it. properties of disk say cdfs. is
there anyway this can be done?

Can you open Windows Explorer and then explore the CD? Can you copy and
paste the files to your hard drive? If so, then in PowerPoint use the
Insert > Picture > Picture from File.
