centering text

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have the new office version 08 and cannot find the icons to align text-center-left-right where is it? I cannot center my text.

Well, actually you *can* get your paragraph centered... And you can do it in
at least 3 other ways: Use the Format> Paragraph - Alignment menu command or
use the Alignment & Spacing section of the Formatting Palette or use the
keystroke Command+E.

However, if the buttons aren't available the real question is whether it's
just the alignment buttons that you can't locate or is the entire Formatting
toolbar missing? If the latter try these in the order listed:

1- Click the oblong button at the right end of the document Title Bar to
show/hide docked toolbars. If that doesn't work;

2- Go to View> Toolbars & select Formatting

If the Formatting toolbar still can't be found or if the buttons are
actually missing from it post back with specifics for what steps to take
next.
