centralizing pictures on a page

is there any way that i can have a picture exactly center
on the page. are there settings to center it horizontally,
or vertically. i am using publisher XP

Easiest way is draw a rectangle the size of the page and arrange the picture
vertically & horizontally and delete the rectangle.

I think you mean Publisher 2002 as there is no version of Publisher called
'XP'.

You can use the Align function to perfectly align a picture or anything else
perfectly centre on the page.
