change the date of a phase

how do i cahnge the date of a phase to pull all subtasks whit it and auoto
update the dates.
My project is repetatife and i dont want to recalculate all the tasks start
and fin dates whit each repatision.

Hi,

To change the start date of a PROJECT :
1. Project, Project information, Project Start
All tasks getting their dates from links get their dates recalculated.
2. On the analysis toolbar, click Adjust dates.
Alll tasks (including those who get their dates from constraints) that are
0% compelte get their dates recalculated.

To change the start date of a summary task

If it is linked to a predecssor task change the predecessor task
Else give the summary task a constraint start no later than

In both cases tasks belonging to the summary task will have a start date not
earlier than the start date of the summary task.
Tasks whose start date is later than the start date of the summary task and
thjat are not linked to othe rtasks will NOT have their start date
recalculated.
