change the task bar symbols in the legend

Does anyone know how or if you are even able to change the task bar symbols
in a format that will show the change within the legend????

Hi Julie,

Thank you so much yes this worked a dream, I now have another headache...is
there a way to assign the custom bars to the resources as to automate this
function rather than having to changed them individualy?

To your new question:

I assume you wish to change the Gantt bar format based upon which
resource is assigned. See FAQ #31 "Customizing Task Bars - Project
2000" at:
http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Although the FAQ references Project 2000, it will work with any release
of Project from 2000 on.
