Changin Subprojects finish date from summary/masterproject?

hello

Is it possible to adjust finish date from summaryproject, so that it would
automatically adjust also subprojects dates?
I can adjust subprojects dates if I open then individually.

Laruvv,

Yes, you *can* do that as long as when you inserted the subproject into
the master project, you checked "on" the field "link to project". Try
it and see what happens.

That being said, I recommend you consider if you *should* do that. It's
best practice to let Project compute the finish dates for you. That's
pretty much the whole point of Project.

I'm sorry I was not accurate.
I have 2 project files that I have inserted (link) to a summary project.
THen in the summary project I would use adjust dates-addin and specify a new
finish date and hope it would also affect and change sub projects finish
dates.

Hi,

AFAIK Adjust Date only has the possibility to change a start date.
And as a principle, higher level dates are defined by the lower level
valus, not the reverse.
